Mgarr United registered a most comfortable 10-0 win over Ghaxaq in a match from Group B of the IZIBET Amateur League at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.
Nicholas Schembri put Mgarr ahead after just one minute and Christian Saints Ebisindor doubled the score on the 7th. Ten minutes later, Ebisindor scored the third goal. Ryan Camilleri and Jurgen Suda scored on the 21st and 29th with Ebisindor scoring a sixth goal eight minutes from the end of the first half. Jurgen Suda converted a penalty twelve minutes in the second half. before Christian Saint Ebisindor scored another three goals on the 68th, 86th and 87th.
In another match, St. George’s defeated Gharghur 2-1. Morientes Muscat put the Saints ahead on the 3rd minute and although Erik Pietribiasi equalised on the 39th, Timmy Thomas notched the winner on the 68th.
