Hamrun Spartans win triangular tournament

Hamrun Spartans won the Alfons Farrugia Triangular Tournament which was held on Friday at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, Hamrun.

The Spartans defeated Birkirkara 1-0 and Tarxien Rainbows 2-1. In the first game, Birkirkara and Tarxien shared the spoils in a goalless draw but Tarxien won 4-3 on penalties.
