Tarxien Rainbows won the Powerade Tournament organised by Hamrun Spartans as they defeated Gzira United 2-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Monday. Tarxien therefore won the tournament as this was their second win. Alex Nilsson put the Rainbows ahead with Daniel Ponce Leon Garcia doubling the score.

In another match, Hamrun Spartans and Balzan shared the spoils in a goalless draw. The Spartans are now second on two points, followed by Balzan and Gzira on one.

The tournament comes to an end on Friday as Tarxien take on Hamrun Spartans at 18:30 and Gzira United face Balzan at 20:30.
