The Evolution Gaming Summer Cup kicked-off at the Luxol Stadium with the first two matches – one from each group.

In Section A, hosts St. Andrews and Mosta shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Gabriel Bezák put Mosta ahead but Ryan Darmanin levelled matters for the Saints.

In Section B, Sliema Wanderers defeated Pembroke Athleta 2-1. The Wanderers took the lead through Mathias Muchardi, Obinna Obiefule equalised but Gary Muir made it 2-1 for the Blues.

On Wednesday, Sirens take on Pembroke Athleta at 18:15 while Valletta facs hosts St. Andrews at 20:30.
