Mosta registered a second successive win as they beat Tarxien Rainbows 1-0 in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round league phase at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Sunday.
A win which puts the Blues in eighth place on 11 points, one ahead of Zabbar and Gzira and six ahead of Naxxar and Tarxien.
Leo Fernandes scored the all-important goal on the hour when he converted a penalty after being brought down inside the area.
