Seven Malta Premier players suspended

Seven players from the YoHealth Malta Premier were suspended following the weekend’s matches.

Marsaxlokk’s Nikolai Muscat was banned for three matches while Iago Mendonca (Floriana), Gustavo Alcino (Sliema), Sava Radic (Valletta), Andre and Clayton Failla (Gzira) and Neil Pace Cocks (Naxxar) were suspended for one match.

Sliema Wanderers official Walter Arciola was suspended for six matches.

In the BOV Challenge League, Yusuf Abdullahi Sulaiman (Birzebbuga), Gabriel (Marsa), Gareth Barone (Melita), Gabriel Mannino (Pieta’), Julian Abela (Santa Lucia), Paul Fenech (Swieqi), Clive Spiteri (Vittoriosa) and Gaetano Gesualdi (Zebbug) were all banned for one match.

In the BOV Amateur League I, Julian Farrugia (Mqabba) and Mattia Zarb (SanGwann) were suspended for three matches while Alexander Akl (Mellieha) and Senglea official Neil Carter were banned for one match. 

On the other hand, in the BOV Amateur League II, Terence Agius (Mdina), Lincoln Micallef (Msida), Aaron Agius (St. George’s) and Neil Borg (Ta’ Xbiex) were suspended for match while Mdina official Gianluca Theuma and Msida coach Conrad Debattista were banned for two matches and one match respectively.
