Six players were suspended by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner after the Meridianbet FA Trophy Round of 32.
Samir Arab (Balzan) and Alex Bruno (Birzebbuga) were both banned for three matches while Samuel Saldanha (Pembroke), Miguel Baggio and Jean Borg (Sliema) and Stefan Cassar (Xewkija) were suspended for one match.
Team officials Claude Mattocks of Swieqi United and Joseph Attard of Xewkija Tigers were both suspended for two matches.
Meanwhile in the BOV Amateur League II, Gilfred Attard (Dingli) and Clive Fenech (Ghaxaq) were banned for one match. Ghaxaq coach Johann Zammit was also banned for one match.
