Mosta scored twice in the second half to beat Hibernians 2-0 in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round Bottom 6 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
The Blues, therefore, obtained the points they needed to avoid the bottom two places.
Following a goalless first half, Mosta managed to take the lead thanks to a goal by Jake Vassallo on 59 minutes.
Six minutes in added time, Pince Chibuzor Emmanuel converted a penalty to double the score.
