Balzan extended their positive run to seven matches as they scored three in the second half to beat Sirens 3-1 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Sunday.
This was, in fact, the sixth win in seven matches for Oliver Spiteri’s side. A win which enables them to join Mosta and Hibernians in fourth place, leaving Sirens fourth from botto.
Following a goalless first half, Angel Torres put Balzan ahead one minute in the second half.
Substitue Bojan Kaljevic doubled the score on the 57th and Angel Torres made it 3-0 two minutes from time.
One minute in added time, Adrian Borg pulled one back for Sirens.
