Diogo Tavares of Valletta was handed a six-match ban while Charles M’Mombwa of Floriana was suspended for three matches by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following the clash between Valletta and Floriana from the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round.
Joseph Minala of Marsaxlokk was suspended for one match.
Meanwhile Naxxar Lions officials Omar Borg and David Vella were suspended for four matches and two matches respectively.
In the BOV Challenge League, Duvan Mosquera (St. Andrews) was banned for three matches, Renan Sgaria (Pieta’) for two matches while Daniel Zerafa (Birzebbuga), Timilehin Caleb Akande (Sgura), Irvin Abela (Marsa), Jade Anthony Clarke and Zack Bartolo (Mtarfa), Jamie Nicholl (Santa Lucia) and Trezeguet Zammit (Sirens) were suspended for one match.
In the BOV Amateur League I, Braydon Farrugia (Mqabba), David Emmanuel Garba (Qormi), Brandon Bray (Qrendi), Gonzalo Virano (San Gwann), Jake Stensen (Senglea), Ferdinando Apap (Victoria) and Randon Caruana (Zejtun) were all banned for one match while in the BOV Amateur League II, Kurt Zammit (Msida) was suspended for two matches, Giuseppe Barone (Gharghur), Lincoln Micallef (Msida), Nigel Borg (Rabat), Pierre Galea (St. George’s) and Jake Milwyn Davies (Ta’ Xbiex) were banned for one match.
