Ten players were suspended by the Malta Disciplinary Commissioner on Tuesday following the weekend’s matches from the 360Sports Malta Premier.
Yann-Alexandre Fillion (Floriana) was suspended for two matches while Nicholas Pulis (Balzan), Oualid El Hasni (Floriana) Elionay (Hamrun), Silas Alfred Hamanojda (Hibs), Marc Van de Font Bovenkamp (Melita), Yasukaze Ito (Naxxar), Kristian Keqi, David Oliveira and Diogo Tavares (Zabbar) were all banned for one match.
Balzan official Jacob Cipriott and Naxxar official Adrian Ciappara were also banned for one match.
In the BOV Challenge League, Kaydon Catania and Jeremy Micallef (Pieta’), Azriel Borg (Santa Lucia), Hubert Vella (Tarxien) and Andrej Nakov (Senglea) were banned for one match.
Zurrieq official Roderick Sciberras was banned for two matches while Zurrieq official Roderick Sciberras and Mtarfa coach Rodney Bugeja were handed a one-match ban.
In the IZIBET Amateur League 1, Yanis Tonna (Attard), Leejoe Schembri (Birzebbuga), Dario Aquilina (Luqa), Adrian Caruana (Vittoriosa), Cheyzen Spagnol (Xghajra), Wayne Chetcuti (Mellieha), Jayden Fenech (Pembroke) and Warren Azzopardi (Qormi) were suspended for one match.
On the other hand, in the IZIBET Amateur League 2, Aaron Agius (Ghaxaq) was handed a four-match ban, Giuseppe Versace (Mdina) was suspended for two matches while Jason Camilleri (Dingli), Yan Galea (Mdina), Clayton Borg (Siggiew), Denio Azzopardi (Sta. Venera) and Ferdinando Apap (Victoria Hotspurs) were suspended for one match.
St. George’s official Kyle Azzopardi was banned for ten matches while Siggiewi official Jake Azzopardi was suspended for one match.
