Hibernians earned their first three points in the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round League Phase as they came from behind to beat Sliema Wanderers 3-1 at the Tony Stadium on Sunday.
The Paolites therefore bounced back from the 0-3 defeat to Birkirkara last week while Sliema suffer their first defeat following a narrow win over Zabbar St. Patrick last week.
The Wanderers managed to take the lead on 25 minutes thanks to a Luke Montebello penalty after Thiaguinho was brought down by Ali Diakite inside the area. However just before the end of the first half, four minutes in added time, Miullen levelled matters for Hibs.
Hibernians went 2-1 ahead nine minutes in the second half through Cleiton and four minutes later, Mullen made it 3-1.
Sliema were reduced to ten men four minutes in added time as Dejan Djuric was sent off for receiving a second yellow card.
