Floriana retained sole leadership in the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round despite a goalless draw in a top-of-the-table clash at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Wednesday.
The Greens now lead by two points over Hamrun Spartans with Marsaxlokk lying third one point behind Hamrun.
After Marsaxlokk went close with Dodo, Floriana had a header by Mustapha Jah ending just over the bar before a good run by the Gambian forward was halted by goalkeeper Matthew Calleja Cremona.
Early in the second half, Jake Grech had a an attempt ending wide before testing Calleja Cremona with a free kick. Rasmus Linden went close for Marsaxlokk but late in the game, Rui Areias missed a good chance for the Greens.
