BOV First, Second and Third Division League 2017/18 draws

The draws for the BOV First Division League, BOV Second Division League and BOV Third Division League were the draws were held at The Trophies Lounge at the National Stadium on Monday.

As from this season, there is a change in format in the BOV Second Division and BOV Third Division due to the change in the number of teams where there will be thirteen teams in the BOV Second Division and twelve teams in the BOV Second Division.

BOV First Division

The First Division shall take the form of a league which shall be played by the fourteen clubs on a double round-robin basis.

At the end of the league, the following shall apply:

• the team placing 1st shall be declared the Champion of the First Division and shall be promoted to the Premier League;
• the team placing 2nd shall be declared the Runner-Up of the First Division, and shall be promoted to the Premier League;
• the team placing 3rd shall be facing the team finishing 12th in the Premier League in a play-off;
• the team finishing 12th will take part in a play-off against the team finishing 3rd in the Second Division;
• the teams placing 13th and 14th shall be relegated to the Second Division.

Matches in the BOV First Division will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, the Luxol Stadium and the Centenary Stadium as follows: one match on a Friday; two matches on Saturday and four on a Sunday or four matches on Saturday and two on a Sunday.

BOV Second Division

• the teams in the bottom two places shall drop out of the National League and need to apply for reinstatement.
