Daniel Mariano Bueno back with Tarxien

After just one season in Poland, Brazilian striker Daniel Mariano Bueno returns to Malta to play for Tarxien Rainbows. Bueno, who arrived in Malta on Wednesday and attended the first training session with his team mates in Pembroke later in the evening, signed a two-year contract with the club.

The 26-year old striker spent one season with Tarxien in 2008/09, scoring an impressive 23 goals in 23 matches. However in summer, he was transferred to Odra Wodzis?aw ?l?ski.

Bueno will be fifth Brazilian player in the Tarxien squad this season but since Ricardo Costa holds an Italian passport, the club will only have four non-EU players. However only four will be able to play at the same time due to the “7 + 4” regulation.

The other Brazilian players are defender Everton Antonio Pereira, midfielder Sergio Pacheco de Oliveira and strikers Ricardo Mion Varella Costa and Cristiano dos Santos Rodrigues.
