Malta international midfielder Ryan Fenech joined Valletta from Hamrun Spartans, signing a five-year deal with the Citizens. The news was revealed by the club’s official website www.vallettafc.net

A product of Hamrun, Fenech made his Premier League debut in season 2002/03 and played for the Spartans since then except for a one-year loan with Sliema Wanderers last season.

As part of the deal, Dyson Falzon will join Hamrun on loan till the end of the season while Massimo Grima will stay with the Spartans on loan till June 2012.
