Champions Mosta won the Women’s Super Cup after defeating Knock-Out winners Birkirkara 1-0 on Tuesday.

Emma Xuereb scored the all-important goal on 63 minutes.

The Women’s League kicks-off on Sunday with the first match from the First Division as Gozo take on Birkirkara. Another two matches will be played on Tuesday 20 – Mosta vs Raiders (Luxol) and Pembroke Athleta vs Marsa. The Women’s Second Division League also gets underway on Tuesday with five matches.
