BOV Division 1: Msida St. Joseph condemn Hamrun Spartans to Division 2

bov-first-division-2013-2014Hamrun Spartans will be playing in Division 2 next season as Msida St. Joseph moved a step closer towards securing their BOV First Division status thanks to a 2-0 win over St. George’s. A win which puts the Saints nine points ahead of Zejtun Corinthians and thirteen ahead of Hamrun.

In another match, Gudja United defeated Zejtun Corinthians 1-0.

Pietà lead the way with 46 points, followed by Zebbug on 42, Melita and Lija 32, St. George’s and Gudja 31, Birzebbuga and St. Andrews 28, Gzira 26, Zurrieq 24, Msida 23, Zejtun 14 and Hamrun 10.

    These must be the worst days of Hamrun Spartans FC.So sad to hear of their relegation to the 2 Div.If I am not mistaken,this is their first time.
