Gzira United signed twenty seven year old midfielder David Xuereb.

After starting his career at the Mellieha nursery, he joined Hibernians and then had spells on loan with Senglea Athletic and Zejtun Corinthians before moving to Marsa and eventually Melita.

The Maroons had earlier signed Maxuell Samurai and Santiago Martinez.
