Valletta secured the services of eighteen year old midfielder Thomas Melillo.

Melillo, who is an Under-17, 18 and 19 international, is a product of Pieta’ Hotspurs.

The Citizens, who have confirmed Thane Micallef as their coach, had earlier signed goalkeeper Adilson Maringá, Mattias Ellul, Yannick Yankam, Shaft Brewer Jr, Emmanuel Mbende and Thaylor and agreed new deals with goalkeeper Timmy Aquilina, Zachary Cassar and Andrea Zammit but James Scicluna, Peter Xuereb, Ayrton Attard, Neil Tabone, Christian Gauci, Enoch Mushagalusa, Enzo Ruiz, Aidan Friggieri and Jefferson Ferreira were not retained.
