Marsaxlokk FC secured the services of thirty-three year old midfielder Triston Caruana.

A product of Hibernians, Caruana spent two and a half years on loan at Qormi between January 2012 and 2014, moving to Tarxien Rainbows in summer 2014 and spending three years at the club. Caruana then moved to Hamrun Spartans but in January 2020, joined Valletta. In summer 2023, he signed for Balzan where he spent the last two years.

The Southseasiders, who have confirmed Enzo Potenza as their coach, had earlier signed goalkeepers Christopher Mafoumbi and Pablo Sanchez, Weder Silva and Oualid El Hasni. On the other hand, Karl Micallef, Ryan Scicluna, Duane Bonnici, Lucas Lopez and Yuri Messias moved elsewhere.
