Sliema Wanderers secured the services of Brazilian twenty five year old defensive midfielder Miguel Baggio Cover.

Miguel Baggio played for Nova Prata, Guarany Bage and following a spelll with Porto Suez in Egypt, he went on to pay for Hercilio Luz, Gaucho, Gloria, CS Esportiva, Santo Andre, Patrocinense, Capivariano, Marilia and Passo Fundo.

The Wanderers, who have confirmed Paul Zammit as their coach, had earlier announced the signing of Roko Prsa, Sulahmana Mamadu Bah, Thiaguinho and Luke Montebello. Meanwhile Geoffrey Acheampong moved to Birkirkara.
