Tarxien Rainbows FC continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Angolan twenty eight year old central defender Willian Salomão Filipe

Willian Salomão started his career at GD Interclube Luanda in Angola but then moved to Portugal where he played for Uniao Madeira, Canelas 2010, Pedras Rubras, Gondomar, FC Alpendorada, Moncarapachense and Cinfães.

Tarxien, who have confirmed coach Jacques Scerri, had earlier signed goalkeepers Andrea Cassar and Miguel Spiteri, Marcus Grima, William James England, Andreas Vella, Luke Anthony Borg, Kyle Gatt, Tavinho, Rafael Tavares, Tiago Santos, Erico Junior, Jonata, Bruno da Cruz, Kwasi Donsu and Johan Castano and confirmed Matthew Tabone, Miguel D’Alessandro, Sheldon Mizzi and Claudio Murici.
