Hibernians signed Brazilian twenty eight year old central defender Charleston Silva dos Santos.

Charleston started his career at Sport Recife and then moved to Clube Atlético do Porto before moving to Bulgaria to join Tsarsko Selo. Later he played for Vardar Skopje and Makedonija Gjorce Petrov, FK Sfîntul Gheorghe Suruceni in Romania, Debreceni VSC in Hungary, FK Maktaaral and Zhetysu Taldykorgan in Kazakhstan.

The Paolites, who have confirmed coach Branko Nisevic, had earlier announced the signing of goalkeeper Laurentiu Branescu, Pedro Cacho, Pablo Alves and Cleiton.
