Malta international defender Kurt Shaw is officially player of Italian Serie C side Sorrento.

Shaw started his career with the Melita nursery, moving to Sliema Wanderers at the age of 12. With the Blues, he went on to make his Premier League debut in season 2016/17. Shaw moved to Hibernians in summer 2022.

Sorrento Calcio 1945 are based in the city of Sorrento and currently play in the Serie C Girone C.

The club has spent most of its history in the lower divisions of Italian football. They won the Serie C1 championship in 1970/71, the Serie C2 championship in 2006/07, the Serie D in 1968/69 and 2005/06.
