Mosta, Gzira United, Sliema Wanderers and Zabbar St. Patrick reached the semi-finals of the Mosta FC Gammari Muscat Pre-Season Tournament which is being held at the Charles Abela Memorial Stadium in Mosta.

In Group A, hosts Mosta earned seven points thanks to a 2-1 win over Naxxar Lions and a 3-1 win over Gzira United, being held in a 2-2 draw by newly-promoted Tarxien Rainbows in another match. They will be joined by Gzira who placed second after a 1-1 draw with Tarxien and following the defeat to Mosta, beat Naxxar 3-1.

Sliema Wanderers won Group B with maximum points after defeating Marsaxlokk 2-0, Valletta 2-1 and Zabbar St. Patrick 1-0. The other three teams ended their commitments on level points as Zabbar defeated Valletta 2-0, Marsaxlokk beat Zabbar 1-0 and Valletta defeated Marsaxlokk 2-0. Zabbar, however, took the runner-up spot.

In the semi-finals, Gzira United take on Sliema Wanderers and Mosta face Zabbar St. Patrick.
