Following a 0-3 defeat at the Tony Bezzina Stadium last week, Hamrun Spartans will be facing Ukrainian giants FC Dynamo Kyiv in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round at the Arena Lublin in Poland on Tuesday, kick-off at 20:00.
After the first leg, the Spartans could only aim at giving their opponents a hard time with a good performance to maintain a high morale ahead of the remaining commitments in European football.
The team which qualifies from this tie will be facing the winner of the tie between Pafos FC of Cyprus or Maccabi Tel Aviv of Israel in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. The first leg in Cyprus ended in a 1-1 draw.
The loser of the clash between Pafos FC or Maccabi Tel Aviv also awaits the loser of the clash between Hamrun and Dynamo Kyiv in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
