Tarxien Rainbows sign more players

Tarxien Rainbows FC continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of more players, namely French twenty seven year old central defender Luc Magsom Zango, Brazilian twenty five year old right back Nhayson Huanne da Silva Rosa and Brazilian twenty four year old forward Wallisson Alberto Dantas dos Santos along with nineteen year old midfielder Gabriel Vella on loan from Hamrun Spartans.

A product of Racing Club Strasbourg, Luc Zango, who also holds a Burkina Faso passport, played for AS Menora before moving to Portugal to join Vazim. Later, he played for Titus Petange in Luxembourg, Othellos Athienou, MEAP Pera Choriou Nisou, Ethnikos Assias, ASIL Lysi in Cyprus, Jammerbugt FC in Denmark, CSM Bucovina Radauti in Romania and Åsgårdstrand IF in Norway.

Nhayson is a product of Red Bull Brazil and went on to play for Maringa and Vitoria before moving to Portugal where he played for CF Esperança Lagos, UD Santarém, Lusitânia FC Lourosa and Caldas SC.

On the other hand, Wallisson Bahia played for a number of clubs in Brazil, including Treze, Matonense, Desportivo Brasil, CSP, Aruko, Ceilandia, Pombal, Marilia, Sertaozinho and URT apart from Nacional in Portugal.

Meanwhile, a product of Oratory Youths, Gabriel Vella joined Hamrun Spartans on loan in season 2021/22. He spent another two years on loan with the Spartans before making his move a permanent one.

Tarxien, who have confirmed coach Jacques Scerri, had earlier signed goalkeepers Andrea Cassar and Miguel Spiteri, Marcus Grima, William James England, Andreas Vella, Luke Anthony Borg, Kyle Gatt, Willian Salomão, Tavinho, Rafael Tavares, Tiago Santos, Erico Junior, Jonata, Bruno da Cruz, Kwasi Donsu and Johan Castano and confirmed goalkeeper Andreas Vella, Miguel D’Alessandro, Sheldon Mizzi and Claudio Murici.
