Marsaxlokk FC secured the services of Cameroonian twenty eight year old defensive midfielder Joseph Minala.

Throughout his career, Minala played for Vigor Perconti, Lazio, Bari, Latina, Salernitana, Lucchese and Olbia in Italy, apart from a spell with Qingdao FC in China and Liepaja in Latvia before moving to Malta last summer to join Sliema Wanderers.

The Southseasiders, who have confirmed Enzo Potenza as their coach, had earlier signed goalkeepers Christopher Mafoumbi and Pablo Sanchez, Enrico Pepe, Triston Caruana, Ensell Attard, James Vella, Weder Silva, Oualid El Hasni, Ayom Majok and Marcelo Santos while Jake Ghio and Dodo will be staying at the club. On the other hand, Karl Micallef, Ryan Scicluna, Duane Bonnici, Lucas Lopez and Yuri Messias moved elsewhere.
