Justin Haber joins Hibernians

Hibernians signed forty four year old goalkeeper Justin Haber. Haber joins the Paolities as a back-up goalkeeper following the injury sustained by Laurentiu Branescu.

This will be Haber’s third spell with Hibernians after playing for the club in the latter part of season 2015/16 and season 2022/23.

A product of Floriana, Justin Haber had a short loan spell with Bulgarian side Dobrudzha Dobrich. He joined Birkirkara but then moved to US Quevilly and eventually Royal Excelsior Virton in Belgium. He returned to Malta to join Marsaxlokk but then moved abroad once again, to join AO Haidari. He had spells with Sheffield United in England, Ferencváros in Hungary and Kerkyra in Greece. On his return to Malta, he played for Mosta, Birkirkara, Hibernians, Floriana, Gzira United, Santa Lucia, Hibernians once again, Gzira United and Zabbar St. Patrick.

The Paolites, who have confirmed coach Branko Nisevic, had earlier announced the signing of goalkeeper Laurentiu Branescu, Aiden Zammit, Joao Teixeira, Duane Bonnici, Charleston, Pedro Cacho, Pablo Alves and Cleiton.
