Malta FA Jubilee Cup: Qormi last team to reach Round 2

Qormi were the last team to qualify for Round 2 of Phase 1 of the Malta FA Jubilee Cup after defeating Marsaskala 6-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Monday.

Innocent John Awori put Qormi ahead on 33 minutes and emerson Camilleri doubled the score two minutes later. Jayden Zac Borg scored twice on 52 and 53 minutes and on the hour, Awori added another. Dion Fava made it 6-0 on 66 minutes.

In Round 2, Qormi will be facing Zejtun Corinthians.

Round 2 for the North Region, South Region and Member Associations will be played this weekend while that for Gozo Region will be played on September 23/24. Three teams from each of the North Region, South Region and Gozo Region and one team from the Member Associations will move on to Phase 2 of the competition where they would be joined by the clubs from the YoHealth Malta Premier and BOV Challenge League.
