Hamrun Spartans moved top along with Valletta as they registered a narrow 1-0 win over Zabbar St. Patrick at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Tuesday.
For the Spartans, this was the second win in four matches as they remain unbeaten. They lead the way with eight points, one point ahead the teams in third place. Zabbar, on the other hand, suffered the second defeat in four matches and continue to now share the second place from bottom on two points.
Rafael Compri scored the all-important goal on 22 minutes.
