Kalkara United and Rabat Ajax registered wins as three matches from the BOV Amateur League II were played on Monday.
At the Centenary Stadium, a goal by Miguel Simiana on 14 minutes handed Kalkara United a narrow win over St. George’s.
Rabat Ajax defeated Ghaxaq 2-1 at the Sirens Stadium. Victor Mbata put the Magpies ahead on 36 minutes and Shylon Vella doubled the score one minute in the second half. Ghaxaq pulled one back thanks to an own goal four minutes from time.
In another match at the Centenary Stadium, Dingli Swallows and Ta’ Xbiex shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Bledi Alla put Ta’ Xbiex ahead on 66 minutes and Ronaldinho Nathaniel Daley equalised one minute from time.
