Francesco Macri names Under-17 squad for Liechtenstein friendlies

Malta Under-17 National Team Coach Francesco Macri has named the final squad for the upcoming international friendly double-header against Liechtenstein.

Malta will be taking on Liechtenstein away from home twice over the space of three days, as the team continues its development.

The two sides will first face off on Friday 26th September at Freizeitpark Widau, in Ruggell, Liechtenstein, with kick-off at 16:00hrs. They will then meet again at the same stadium, but on Sunday 28th September, with the game kicking off at 12:00hrs.

These two matches will be crucial for the team as it prepares for the upcoming 2026 UEFA European U17 Championship Qualifiers, where Malta has been drawn in Group 7 alongside Serbia, Turkey, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
