Naxxar Lions bowed out of the UEFA Youth League after losing 4-1 to Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar at the Europa Point Stadium in the second leg of the Domestic Champions path first round on Wednesday. Lincoln Red Imps, therefore, make it to the next round with a 6-1 aggregate score following the 2-0 win at the Gozo Stadium two weeks ago.
Javan Peacock converted a penalty on 27 minutes but Naxxar equalised six minutes later through Clarence Scicluna. Three minutes from the end of the first half, Lee Chipolina restored the lead and two minutes later, the same player made it 3-1. Chipolina completed his hat-trick with a penalty ten minutes in the second half.
