Fgura United and Mgarr United secured a spot in the Round of 32 of the Malta FA Jubilee Cup as they registered wins in two matches from the Preliminry Round at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.  

Fgura found no difficulty in beating Mtarfa 6-1. 

Adolphus Nagbe Marshall put Fgura ahead on 12 minutes and Timilehin Caleb Akande doubled the score four minutes later. Kalilou Trawally reduced the gap for Mtarfa on 34 minutes but Alan Abdel Rahman scored twice on 48 and 55  inutes with Isiah Micallef and Matthew Brincat adding another two goals on 69 and 88 minutes.   

Fgura United will be meeting Gzira United in the Round of 32. 

In another match, a goal by Ronaldo Da Cruz four minutes from time handed Mgarr United a narrow win over Gudja United. 

In the Round of 32, Mgarr United will be facing Swieqi United.
