Attard were the last team to reach the Round of 16 of the Malta FA Jubilee Cup after they came from behind to beat Lija Athletic 2-1 in a match from the Round of 32 at the Sirens Stadum on Monday.

Ross McParland put Lija ahead on 10 minutes but Precious Uchechukwu Nwankwo equalised nine minutes in the second half and Nicholas Schembri notched the winner on 79 minutes.

Attard, who are the only remaining team from the BOV Amateur League I, will be facing Zebbug Rangers in the next round. Zebbug are one of three teams from the BOV Challenge League still in the competition along with Zurrieq and Mgarr United.
