Mosta and Zabbar St. Patrick shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round league phase at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday.
A draw which condemns Mosta to playing in the Bottom 6 and almost ruled out completely Zabbar’s chances of making it to the Top 6.
However, on a positive note, this was the first point for the Blues after losing their last four league games while Zabbar, who now lie in eighth place, one ahead of Gzira and two ahead of Mosta and Tarxien, earn a point after losing to Birkirkara in their previous outing.
Zean Leonardi put the Saints ahead on 72 minutes but ten minutes from time, Leo Fernandes notched the equaliser for Mosta.
