Mosta returned to winning ways as they defeated neighbours Naxxar Lions 3-0 in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round league phase at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.
The Blues therefore returned to winning ways after losing five out of the last seven matches in which they earned just two points in draws. A win which puts Mosta in ninth place on 8 points, followed by Zabbar on 7, leaving Naxxar and Tarxien at the bottom of the table with five points.
Prince Chibuzor Emmanuel put the Blues ahead on 70 minutes and Simon Zibo doubled the score six minutes later. Prince Chibuzor Emmanuel sealed the issue for Mosta with another goal nine minutes from time.
