Melita were held in a 2-2 draw by Gudja United at the Victor Tedesco Stadium in one of the matches from the BOV Challenge League on Saturday. 

Jesus Yepez put Melita ahead on the half hour but Eman Micallef equalised three minutes in the second half. Yepez converted a penalty for Melita six minutes later but Bjorn Buhagiar equalised on 61 minutes. 

A goal by Arthur Stelmach after just ten minutes handed Pieta’ Hotspurs a narrow win over Santa Lucia in another match at the Victor Tedesco Stadium while at the Centenary Stadium, Mgarr United defeated Zebbug Rangers 1-0 thanks to a goal by Cristhyan three minutes in the second half. 

In another match at the Centenary Stadium, Marsa and Sirens shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Ryan Mercieca put Sirens ahead five minutes in the second half and Atem Dor Jok equalised on 75 minutes. Hafiz Mohammed Akadom restored the lead for the St. Paul’s Bay side on 79 minutes but David Machado Versiani made it 2-2 a minute later.
