Floriana and Sliema Wanderers shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round league phase at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday. 

The Greens move top, one points ahead of Valletta and Hamrun Spartans but the Citizens have a game in hand. The Wanderers. The other hand, finish their league phase commitments in fourth place. 

Jake Grech put Floriana ahead on 15 minutes thanks to Jake Grech following a clearance by goalkeeper Rashed Al Tumi but five minutes from the emd of the first half, Sulahmana Bah levelled matters for Sliema who slotted the ball past goalkeeper Gulilherme Cioletti following a cross from the left. 

The Greens regained the lead on 71 minutes courtesy of Federico Varela but eight minutes later, Miguel Baggio restored the equilibrium for Sliema.
