Francesco Macri names Under-17 squad for UEFA tournament

Malta Under-17 National Team Coach Francesco Macri has announced a 20-player squad for the upcoming UEFA Euro U17 Qualifiers, to be held in Serbia over the coming days.

The young team has been drawn in Group 7 of Round 1 of the qualifiers, together with Serbia, Türkiye, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The first encounter will see Malta take on hosts Serbia on Tuesday 11th November at 17:00hrs, with the match being played at the Sportski Centar, Mladost in Pancevo. This will then be followed by another encounter on Friday 14th November, this time against Türkiye, with kick-off at 11:00hrs. That match will be played at FK Voždova in Belgrade.
