The Futsal week in Malta was packed with action and surprises across two increasingly competitive leagues. In the men’s division, the University of Malta and Birżebbuġa St Peter’s once again showed consistency and maintained their place at the top. Meanwhile in the women’s league, Zero Sei Futsal dominated on St George’s draw and moved alone into first place after a great performance.
Enemed Men’s League
Sliema Futsal Fort Fitness earned their first victory of the season in convincing fashion, defeating the Malta FA Futsal Selection U17 by 5–1, with Brazilian Rodrigues Silva Leandro standing out as the main protagonist. The University of Malta continued to demonstrate their strength with a 7–0 win over Marsaskala Futsal Legends, a result that firmly places them among the favourites for this season.
Zejtun Corinthians Futsal also secured their first win with an efficient display that saw them prevail 7–4, while Birżebbuġa St. Peter’s kept pace with the leaders through an 8–1 victory over Santa Venera Lightnings, who are still searching for their first points.
The University of Malta and Birżebbuġa St. Peter’s share the top spot with 9 points each. Marsaskala Legends sit in third place on 6 points, followed by Luxol St Andrews, Sliema Fort Fitness, and Zejtun Corinthians, all on 3 points. The bottom three positions are occupied by the U19 Selection, U17 Selection, and Santa Venera Lightnings, who remain without points.





Enemed Women’s League
In a high-tempo encounter, St George’s Futsal and Swieqi United Futsal produced a spectacular 4–4 draw. Zero Sei Futsal took advantage of this result and secured a dominant 10–2 win over Parr Mela Rockets Futsal, a victory that lifted them to the top of the table on their own. Luxol Sports Club Futsal Argus also impressed with an 8–0 win against St Andrews Futsal, further strengthening their position among the top three.
Zero Sei Futsal lead the standings with 9 points, followed by St George’s Futsal on 7 and Luxol Futsal Argus on 6. Behind them are St Andrews with 3 points, Swieqi United with one point, and Parr Mela Rockets, who remain without points.
