Hibernians were held in a 1-1 draw by Naxxar Lions in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round Bottom 6 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Tuesday.
The Polities now share the top spot in the Bottom 6 with Gzira United on 16 points, followed by Zabbar and Mosta on 11 with Naxxar and Tarxien sharing the bottom spot on 6 points.
Hibernians managed to take the lead on 70 minutes when they were awarded a penalty after FVS review and Lucas Villela converted from the penalty spot.
However, one minute later, Naxxar levelled matters when off a cross by Joao Victor, Firmino headed home past goalkeeper Laurentiu Branescu.
