St. George’s and Gharghur shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in a match from the BOV Amateur League II at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.
Ryan Dalli put the Saints ahead on 6 minutes but Aaron Alfredo Doda equalised on 56 minutes and three minutes later, Daniel Quintano made it 2-1. However, Kurt Zahra levelled matters for St. George’s.
Kalkara lead the way with 24 points, followed by Siggiewi on 15, Dingli 14, Msida and Rabat 13, Ta’ Xbiex and Mdina 12, St. George’s 11, Gharghur 7, Marsaskala and Ghaxaq 5 and Sta. Venera 3.
