Hibernians handed Gzira United their first defeat in the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round Bottom 6 as they defeated them 4-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Thursday.
A win which enabled the Paolites to move top in the Bottom 6, one point ahead of the Maroons.
Pedrao put Hibernians ahead on 28 minutes and twelve minutes in the second half, Lucas Villela doubled the score. On the hour, Miullen extended the lead and although Gabriel Bohrer Mentz pulled one back for the Maroons on 77 minutes, Villela made it 4-1 ten minutes from time.
