Sliema Wanderers FC announced that Pablo Doffo has been appointed as the new head coach of the club. He replaces Paul Zammit with whom they had mutually agreed to part ways on Monday.

A former player of Hibernians, Floriana, Naxxar Lions, Senglea Athletic and Marsaxlokk after starting his career at Sporting Belgrano and playing for Talleres Perico in Argentina, Doffo started his coaching career as player-coach of Senglea Athletic mid-way through season 2015/16. He then coached Marsaxlokk between 2018 and 2023. In summer 2023, he joined Swieqi United where he spent two years while last summer, he joined Nadur Youngsters.
