Mqabba were held in a 2-2 draw by Kirkop United in a match from the BOV Amateur League I at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.
Cedric Ezekiel Macalou put Kirkop ahead on 40 minutes but Luka Mijic equalised a minute later. Giorgio Bellia restored the lead for Kirkop on 74 minutes with Saturday Nanapere notching the equaliser eight minutes from time.
On the other hand, a goal by Kieran Xuereb on 75 minutes handed Qrendi a narrow win over Qormi.
Meanwhile Mqabba lost the three points they had won in the game against Pembroke Athleta on December 14 as the latter were awarded a 3-0 win after filing a protest which was upheld by the Malta FA Protests Board.
Attard, Qormi and Qrendi lead the way with 18 points, followed by San Gwann and Mqabba 16, Qrendi 15, Lija 14, Victoria 13, Mellieha and Pembroke 11, Zejtun 10, Kirkop 9, Luqa and Xghajra 7 and Senglea 4.
