A goal three minutes in added time by Rosiel handed Naxxar Lions a narrow win over bottom-placed Tarxien Rainbows in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Opening Round Bottom 6 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Sunday.

However this win was not enough for the Lions to avoid the second place from bottom as both Mosta and Zabbar St. Patrick registered wins in the other matches, leaving them trailing by one point. 

Therefore Naxxar, along with Tarxien Rainbows are candidates for the relegation play-outs or automatic relegation should they finish in the bottom two places in the Closing Round.
