Floriana survived an early scare as they came back from a goal down to beat Naxxar Lions 3-1 in a match from the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round League Phase at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday.
The Lions played a good first half but the inclusion of Jake Grech made the whole difference for the Greens in the second half as he scored a goal and provided two assists.
Joao Victor put Naxxar ahead five minutes in the first half but three minutes in the second half, Jake Grech equalised for Floriana.
Kenan Dervisagic made it 2-1 on 57 minutes and Rui Areias sealed the issue with a third goal on 76 minutes.
